I'm using OS X 10.4.11 Tiger so this may be different on a newer version of OS X. Do you mean Personal Web Sharing? If so, anything you want to share will need to be in the Sites folder of your User folder. There should be a sample html file and some image files in there already to get you started.

M-Audio sonica when I'm using speakers and whatever is built into my Logitech USB headset.
As a premium choice, I would be using an M-Audio Audiophile card, internal or external, as it seems to be the best of the bunch available for Macs.

Hand barake is a great ripping tool but does anyone know of a free app to condense a dvd so that it can fit on a single 4.7 gb dvd?
HandBrake will do that all you have to do is set the size of the video file.

The rules on eligibility are pretty clear, dealing with different factors that can seriously raise the risk of infection or illness by the donor, the recipient or both. Everywhere I've donated, the questionnaire has been written as "have you done such-and-so" rather than passing judgment about one's life.
This probably isn't the right forum to debate the various factors and risks. Probably better suited for a medical research forum.

Interesting that you had problems with your cds. Usually I never encountered such a thing. I take care of them but not spend too much time worrying about it. Lots of my work are backed up on cd's and dvds as early as the 90's.
same here, i just finished moving everything off CD-R, some as old as '97 to DVD-R, DVD-R DL. i figure it's a few years before i start moving everything off the DVD's and onto my new GREEN-RAY burner, cause those 100TB GR-R discs will be bleading edge yo.

I think 2TB drives are a great option for you. They can be had for as little as 75-80 each these days and 4 of them would give you 8TB in your file server. Not too shabby.
I myself plan to buy a couple 2TB drives soon as I am running out of space even with 3.5 TB.

If I did it right, I could get a bit over 400 miles out of a fill of gas (not the ENTIRE tank, but what I'd normally fill it to) in my 300C on the freeway. I usually get more like 22mpg than 24 though, because when I go on road trips that car is loaded UP. XD

The India remark is not a bash against Indians, it is a bash against overseas outsourcing, and to some extent insourcing.
India does not have the worker protections, laws, etc. that the US has. The country is basically a sweat shop, and Indian consulting firms, desperate for American business, will routinely lie, overestimate their ability to complete a project, and then treat their workers like crap. The result is the project rarely gets done correctly. This is from 15 years IT experience -I have seen it many, many times.
Microsoft routinely ships development projects to India in order to tap into low-wage labor and avoid US laws. Apple probably does some of this as well, although MS is notorious for it. The quality of MS products has gone down, perhaps as a result of this (among many other factors).
Cloud computing may ultimately mean that a H1B comes into your company, drops a couple circuits in, and everything runs from India: no need to hire American workers. The office is "virtualized." When the Indian workers become expensive, the Indian firms just ship those jobs over to China.
10 years from now, the IT industry in the US may have gone the way of the textile industry, with basically everyone losing their jobs. I hope that doesn't happen, because I like working in this industry, and my kid likes computers ...

Microsoft ripped off Novell to get Active Directory (which isn't even as good -it lacks fault tolerance and the performance is poor), and before that ripped off Apple to get the GUI. Windows 7 looks like a cheap OSX knock-off made in mainland China. MS steals ideas, Apple is the innovator.
As I said before, MS makes good front-end applications, and a few good back-end ones as well (SQL is good but very, very expensive -Exchange is a piece of shi*). Their OS still runs on old technology and it shows.
GPOs can do ten million things, 95% of which corporations never use -that is called feature creep.

I tried flashing a 5770 via usb dos boot, message was fine. but on reboot, black screen.
So I flashed back with the original rom using an nvidia gfx to boot in - still black screen
this is what i used - atiflash -fa -fm -fs -fp -p 0 original.rom
Any suggestions on getting my card back or is it bricked?

I can send youtube videos to my Apple TV. However with the MLB iPad app I can't even though the MLB videos in the app have the icon for me to select Apple TV as an output device.
Is this something the MLB app is doing to prevent the videos from appearing on the tv. I thought since the video has the output selector control it would work.
