You act like the iPad they destroyed for the purpose of promotion was impossible to replace... like there will always be one person who wanted an iPad in the world who can never have one now, because he blended THAT one. Ridiculous!
If you go to the site, they are giving away an iPad in a contest to make up for that poor soul who will never be able to get the one he blended. Maybe that will make some people happy. :)

I wanted to load the stream, but my quicktime player said, i've to update to QuickTime 7.1.3 first.... Does Quicktime 7.1.3 already exist?! I lokked at the Apple Website, and there was no update in the Software downloadsection.....

I unplugged everything, closed any applications, and repaired permissions before running the update on my MacBook CD 2.0Ghz.
It updated successfully, no problems at all... It runs at the same temperature as before...

I'm all for companies protecting their IP.
However, it seems like Nokia is grasping at straws here since they've been turn down a couple times already.
Also... I really believe that there should be a time limit on when you can sue a company over an infringement when there is a shipping product involved. Waiting until it's wildly successful and then suing is silly. If they cared so much about their IP, they should have sued 4 years ago when the iPhone came out.

The Volt's just the tip of the iceberg. IF, and a big if, they perfect the manufacturing and design and port it to other vehicles, GM will start raking in the cash. The more they sell, the cheaper it gets. Not many are going to be willing to spend $41,000 for it, but nobody would buy it for $50k. If they want to get the electric car era jump started, they gotta give it away in the beginning.

Okay, short of bow ties: Take a business card, turn it vertically and write "MacRumors" (or "MR") on the back, near the top. Insert it in your badge holder behind the plastic badge.

Right. The Core 2 Duo's have been out how long...a month perhaps, and Apple is falling behind?
Unless they start giving thier software for free then they have no chance people can choose a good Windows on a pc or pay loads for a mac. Or they could just use Linux. Linux will probably beat both of them in the near future when they get more software included. I know personally I will be switching from Apple to linux on my pc in about 2 weeks when I can get everything backed up safely so I will have Linux and windows on 2 hdd's from this point there is no point in going back to mac since you can get everything you want in linux for free
