Has anyone had luck with Chrome in 10.7? When I try to Quit it won't. I have to Force Quit in Activity Monitor, and Chromuim nightly's won't even launch.
When i try to download a file in Safari I get the Download window and a message that the file can't be downloaded. I click on re-try and then a 2nd item is added to the download list for the file and it downloads while the 1st file seems to still be retrying.
I'd post a screen shot of this but when I try I just get a full black screen like this:

I am not 100% on how to use parallels
Basically I just need that one stupid site to stream, so I need to find a way to stream and I wont have to worry about windows ever.
Forget Parallels, VMWARE Fusion is much easier to use and less buggy.

 The 17" apple studio displays I saw on line - ARE NOT AVAilable. Not at the price they were quoting. So now I have more thinking to do. There are 2 companies that claim they have them in stock but want close to $650!
I have seen quite a few on ebay in the 250 - 300 range. What do you all think of buying a monitor on ebay?

I decided to just install it on my SSD since I want to take advantage of the speed of it. This no longer seems as buggy as it did when I installed Lion a few weeks ago and got rid of it. I can now run the VNC app "iTeleport" without problem!
Thank you for taking the time to lay out these instructions, as it is invaluable to me as I install for future partitions down the road. Cheers.

Then the article served its purpose. Until advertisers stop paying for page views and start paying only for click throughs this click baiting crap will continue. Hi, I want to put some CD's that I purchased on my iTunes to put on my iPod. The only problem is that I am getting a new laptop soon, my BlackBook is dyeing.)))): Well, so far I have bought all my music on iTunes, but it's so expensive. I bought many CD's like I said, and I'm putting them on iTunes. When I plug the iPod into a new computer, it would ask me if I wanted to transfer my purchases. And everything that I bought would transfer. The songs that I got from other websites wouldn't transfer. But If I import the CD's through iTunes, will it still transfer to the new computer? Or do they have to be bought from iTunes?
Thank You!
If you have an external hard drive just move the files from one computer to another, it's pretty easy if you do it that way. If you don't have one, just use the program I used to use, Idump Pro, here's a link for the cnet download of that program. http://download.cnet.com/iDumpPro/3000-2141_4-10805181.html

I find often times the store makes the bundles. Pisses me off to no end. I do not mind if MS throws the game in for free but like you I hate bundles.
I know with the Wii it was the stores making the bundles making you buy all the extra games for it. After that I have noticed that they tend to do it more and more often so people will just settle and buy the bundles.

DaisyDisk seems to give a good indication of where all those missing GBs are going.
Disk Inventory X (http://www.derlien.com/) does this as well, with a nice graphical "treemap" that shows you what kinds of files are clogging up your drive.

what if i go on a subway and lose service? would i have to unlock it again??
No you do not.
It will find the wireless signal when it becomes available, you do not need to go through the unlock process.
Only when you turn the phone off and back on, (or turn off/on the airplane mode), you will need to unlock it again.

Just to put my exrierence out there i had, yours look like an exact picture of mine and then i when i sent mine in to get the screen fixed they would not do it due to the fact that the damage could be down in the logic board. So i ended up paying the 250 for the replacement.
Thanks Brian

I used the V400 for a while. We didnt get a long to well. It was fine, the battery life was fine for me. Nothing un reasonable. 3-4 days is what I got. I seemed rather slow n sluggish at times. It also scratches very easier. Then my backlight died on it. ( Just one day went out.) I went into Cingular and they gave me a new one on the spot.
I was done with the phone though, and bought a V600 at the same time. (sold the new V400 on ebay) It much more durable IMO opinion.
I've since bought a V3.
All in all its a good phone. Nothing special IMO. but solid.

Why wait in line...The Best buy in Citrus Park and the CompUSA in Brandon . . .
The release is the buzz, the standing in line anticipating it is the stoke. Best Buy's okay for CDs, and CompUSA is fine for ink cartridges, but when's the last time you heard people say "Let's meet at Best Buy to get a new HDMI cable?"
Besides, it'll be on Friday. The Mac fanboys can then go to Blue Martini and look smugly upon the beautiful people lined up to throw money at indifferent bartenders serving overpriced drinks, all the while holding up their copies of Leopard while yelling "I've got mine, I've got mine!"

Can anyone give me the right amount to partition off for Windows XP+Games+Bootcamp?
Thanks in advance,
K.
Simple answer - No we can't.
Longer answer - Only you know how many games you will be wanting to install on XP, similar to the above poster, I only play one game which requires Windows, so I set mine to 40GB, which was enough for OS and the game.
One piece of advice I would give you is to partition your drive into 3, one for Mac OS, one for Windows and a third 'spare' partition. THat way if you find yourself running out of space on either Mac or Windows you can format the 'spare' partition appropriately, or even split the spare into two.
Thanks in advance,
K.

1. Go here: http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
2. Scroll down until you see "iPhone / iPod touch / iPad"
3. Click the drop down menu and look for "iPod Touch __G 3.1.2 7D11" *
4. Download the file and save it somewhere you remember
5. Open iTunes and plug in your iPod Touch normally.
6. Go into the iPod summary page and look for the "Restore button"
7. While holding the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard, click the "Restore" button
8. A window will pop up asking to locate the .ipa (The file you downloaded)
9. Select it and open it. It will now downgrade.
10. Congrats you are now on the faster 3.1.2!
*Fill the blank with the generation number.
If you have a flat back, then it's the first generation (1G)
If you have a curved back, and MB model number, it's the second generation (2G)
If you have a curved back and MC model number, it's the third generation (3G)
All 3.1.2 firmwares will be 7D11.
Hope this helps.
this is what i did.
no success
ps. its the "option" key, not control
