I filed my GC on EB2 and current status is :
I140 approved on Sep 2008
I 485 in process - submitted RFE on Sep 10th
Right now i m on H1B. I recently got married and my husband is on H1B he didnt start his GC process yet. At this stage can i add him on my green card. If so pls explain me the process ...

I applied for H1 on Oct 10 2010. I got an RFE - (relatively benign - proof of labor cert filing) on Feb 22. My attorney responded and they changed the status to RFE Response Review on March 3rd. Unfortunately, I'm planning to go to India on the 26th.
- Would upgrading to Premium help at this time?
- What is the typical response time between RFE response review and decision?
btw, this application was processed in the Vermont Service Center.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I am in a big fix by not getting jobs. I cant find a job in pharma company nor anyone to sponsor me for H1b.I am on H4 visa rightnow and want suggestions for wht i should do to get job and H1b visa. can someone suggest me how should i proceed with this.

My EAD and AP have the wrong birth date and I just noticed it. I have to re-send form I-765 and I-131 with the original EAD and original AP for correction. My case was originally filed in NSC along with 485, but I live in Texas.
But, as per instructions for I-765 and I-131, form should be filed at:
"Service Center with jurisdiction over your residence or Local Office - depending on where your case is pending."
Can someone guide me please ? Where should I file - TSC of NSC ?

I think there was a change in the rules for re-entry permits - you have to submit for biometrics before you leave the U.S. - so the auntie may not be able to apply for re-entry permit if she is outside the U.S.

My manager got an email from USCIS saying my I140 is approved and they will mail the approval notice. Online case status show that approval notice emailed. But we haven't received any emails about the approval notice. Do USCIS sent paper approval notices??

My wife and I, currently have EADs. My wife has been offered a job and they need a Green Card when she joins in May 2008.
Is there a way to expedite the processing of I-140 and I-485, so that we do get our Green Cards in next month or so?

How quickly can we change the job safely after receiving a GC?

I just got a letter from USCIS saying that I need to get a police clearance(b/c my fingerprints are unclassifiable) within 30 days otherwise it may result in the denial of my application.
I am now out of states working for my U.S. employer's overseas branch and can't go back to US until end of Aug. Is there anyway I can ask USCIS to give me some extention period?

I got H1 B visa recently which has been processed by my consultant. Right now I am working in india. My current employer is asking me to go for an assignment to US with L1 Visa. My question is :
1) Do i get any problem for my current H1 visa, If I attend again to Embassy for L1.
Some of my friends are telling me that my current H1B visa will be cancelled in order to get L1 .. Please any one clarify my doubt...
