I am seeing people with july 2nd dates getting their checks cashed, and there maybe a quick jump after July 2nd because of the bulletin fiasco we had. And plenty of people have filed after July 17, Could someone tell me if their checks have got cashed? This could be a helpful thread for After 17th filers.

Hello gurus,
My H1 expires in march 2009, I have valid EAD and AP, I want to renew my H1to be on the safer side.
My wife made use of her EAD for few months and now she is not working, and we are planning to visit India for few weeks next year and get H1 and H4 stamped.

here are my questions:

1. Can my wife get her H4 extension when I apply for my H1 extension ?

2. Does USCIS know that she used her EAD (Is there a way that they can find out) and will there be any problem in approving H4 extension ?

3. Now that she is not using her EAD, Is she back on H4 status ? She came here as H4 and never made a trip back.

Hi,

I Lost my I797A (but having photo copy) . I want to go to my Home country on emergency for 2 weeks and return to US.

Will I get visa stamping with

1. Copy of I797A and Employee's related documents ?
2. Copy of I797A and Employee's related documents + Proof of Duplication Request ?
3. Whether Duplication form (I-824) Should be separately filed for L1 & L2 ?

Please guide me Immediately.

This is the scenario:

1. Husband becomes a LPR this year.
2. Wife still undocumented.
3. Wife was working long time ago, but became a housewife for the past 6 years, so no work.

How would the wife adjust her status under the new CIR if she was not working for the past 6 years?
Would she have to wait until the husband is able to petition her through other regular means?

Any ideas or is it too early to tell how USCIS will issue it's regulations about CIR?

SEP Visa Bulletin is OUT...surprisingly EB2 INDIA 01APR2004, but it was U in the AUG...what is going on....does it mean who ever PD is prior to that date get GC...??

hello...

I was on H1.. but i quit my job and i am currently enrolled as a Full time student.
I need to go to Mexico as part of my Study program....

I have received the change of status from USCIS..but i need to get my passport stamped..

I have not been successful in getting an appointment in Canada....

Hi
I had contributed $1000 towards my FSA dependent care account in 2010.
Now, in order to claim this amount, both husband and wife should be working, this is not the case with me, as my wife was not able to find a job in 2010.

Will this amount be reimbursed to me by the FSA management company ? as my son went to a preschool, and i paid the school fees every month.
