That's what I was afraid of... :( Everything's good as far as Win reports. Device Manager is clearn. I'm sure the 11 and the 13 have same audio drivers - just can't figure out why it worked for the first few reboots, but discovered the problem after all updates and service packs were installed.
For the reinstall process, should I kill the current Win partition and really start from scratch? Or just reinstall from the 'advanced recovery method' menu?

I have installed Windows through bootcamp on my Mac. Is there any way to "ask" what disk to start up on so I don't have to hold the option key.

Ok, so lets say I go with 3rd party memory. If I have an unrelated problem with the MBP, would I need to put the original memory back in before taking it in for service?

I'll try and make this logical-
Is there a quick way to include what the person I am quoting quoted when I quote them?
In other words, if somebody quotes me and I want to reply, when I press quote it only includes what they wrote, not what I originally wrote as well. On busy threads it can would be useful to be able to quote everything.

It's getting louder because Skype is a CPU-intensive program, which causes your processor to heat up. The noise you hear are the cooling fans. Any video chat program will do the same thing.

Continue using your iPhone until the thing shuts off by itself. Then plug it in and let it charge back up completely. If after this you're still having issues with your battery, shut off your bluetooth, push email, etc and see if that helps. Still having issues with your battery, then take it to the Apple store and see if they can help, or get you a replacement iPhone.

Hello everyone. I am considering buying some ram for my Dell in signature. So it turns out that my Dell uses the exact same type of ram as my iMac 27" i7. As far as I know, the iMac by default comes with 4 ram slots, with 2x2GB ram being used for 4GB. This means that I should have 2 slots open, right? I was considering buying 2x2gb ram sticks, which will bring my dell up to 6GB Ram(4 slots as well, 2 are slightly more difficult to get to atm,currently has 4x1GB). I could then take the extra 2x1gb and boost my iMac up to 6 GB as well.
Now, the question. I went on NewEgg, and I noticed quite a few offers I could choose from, listed here.

Edit: On second glance, it seems the Ram in my iMac is 1333 Mhz, not the 1066. I know for a fact that the Ram in my Dell and the Late 2009 MBP are compatible with each other(and I know the MBP was 1066 Mhz). I was also under the impression that the Ram in that MBP and my iMac was also compatible. Will my iMac only support 1333 MHz, or will 1066 MHz work as well?

It depends on your needs, if you have two notebooks with the same specs and differing only in weight, the lighter one will probably be more expensive, but if you need something that is very portable then it is probably worth it and thus better. If you don't care about weight, the heavier one will be cheaper and better for your needs.

Simply insert your iPhone into the iLidz media viewer, look through the magnifying glass and adjust until focused. Voila. Hands free viewing. I can't say I necessarily felt like I was looking at a large screen, I suppose being hands free while watching a movie could be useful.
