I was playing around with my CategoriesSB background graphic and had the idea of the graphic being a finder window with the correct folder name and graphic.
If anyone is interested in giving it a go I can post the .psd with instructions.

At this point, I couldn't really care less about Blu Ray or HD-DVD. I'd be more excited if Apple included Lightscribe or equivalent capability in their drives. Unlabeled discs are piled high on my desk.

The 7-hour battery estimate is supposed to be more precise. I'm in the US and the MacBooks were just updated recently.

You need to ask yourselves a questions: How these stores operating? and Why products end up there?
Apparently, some authorized retailers overstock iPads or could not move projected volume, so they dumped some unsold inventory to Marshalls and TJMax, just to get some cash back, quick.
Overstocked with iPads??? Not a good news for Steve.
What is the issue here? iPads are sold in Walmart and Target and nobody complains.
I think the biggest issue with it comes from the actual Apple authorized retailers. For instance, in my line of work (golf course management), I purchase golf equipment directly from the manufacturers (Callaway Golf, Nike, Titleist, etc). To be able to do that, I HAVE to agree to a minimum advertised pricing (MAP) policy, or I can't buy directly from them nor be listed as a retailer of that company's products (any retailer buying from directly from the manufacturer has to abide by this). If I then saw a major retailer (a competitor) advertising products that I sell for significantly lower than I am allowed to (knowing that all official retailers are supposed to be bound by this agreement to even sell the products as an "authorized retailer"), then I'm going to be pretty upset as to why I have to abide by it to get my goods, when either they (the competitor discounting said merchandise) aren't, or either they are getting a cheaper price (allowing them to sell for a lower price than me, yet still keep similar profit margins). And if they are in violation of this MAP policy, I'm going to damn sure be wondering why the manufacturer (in the iPad case...Apple), isn't going after them (telling them to stop, if they are an authorized retailer), or pulling their account. In the golf business, the manufacturers go hard after companies that violate this MAP policy.

It looks like AT&T automatically applied the Unlimited Mobile to Any Mobile feature on my account. I've always had the 450 minute plan, unlimited texting, and unlimited data ($89.99 not including my corp. discount). I logged in and the Features page displayed Unlimited texting with no mention of Unlimited Mobile to Any Mobile. Then I went to the calling plan page and it appears to have already been added.
Nothing in that screenshot indicates that the Any Mobile plan has been added. You should see it as an option on the Features page. You'll have to have an unlimited texting plan, though.

Again, us Americans with our fake subsidy. Other countries are getting iPhones for free with contract. Lame.
Oh, and if people think T-Mobile is better, they increase the subsidized price of their G2 and myTouch 4G to $249 from $199 not too long ago.
After the buy-out announcement?
I know some of their "deals" have gone away since then...
Coincidence?

We get a full year of support on hardware and software, and have Applecare for beyond year 1. So limited OS support is FUD.
I don't think it is FUD. For example, Microsoft's last support for WinXP Pro ends in April of 2014 that is over 12 years of support from the vendor.

Why the heck _wouldn't_ you count those? You can use apps across all the devices, which is where the power of the Apple ecosystem comes into play. Once the Apple TV can support apps, that will be counted too. Whether or not you can make a phone call on the device is absolutely 100% irrelevant. The ONLY thing that matters in these kind of numbers is whether or not you can run an application on it. That's where the benefit of market reach comes into play. More devices sold = more developers = more benefit to customers = more devices sold = more developers ... etc. It's a great little self-sustaining model.
I disagree.
"The ONLY thing that matters in these kind of numbers is whether or not you can run an application on it." ---If it cant make a call its a different device PERIOD.
What?
Then Android numbers should be disallowed from any discussion, because the fact that 200 devices made by 25 different companies containing 10 different versions of Android are not the same thing or related in any relative way. Android phones from the same manufacturers are barely comparable to each other.
Those are all phones. By your logic, you prove my point. By your logic there are 10 different iOS devices , are you saying that THEY -"are not the same thing or related in any relative way" ?
PS : I love my iPhone but it is not my leader. Apple is cool but I don't jump up and down for any and every Pro- Apple story I can drink down. This chart is BS...IMHO

There's been reports of battery issues to. I haven't tested it myself, but it seems like I'm getting less battery life since 4.3.1, which is what many others have been saying. I don't know how widespread this isssue is, though.
It seems to be very widespread. Everyone I know that's installed it has the issue.

Sweet. As an adamant dotmac user this looks really cool. I use my web-mail frequently at work and it's nice to see it getting a major update! Hopefully they update the rest of dotmac too. As is it works great, but it could use some new features.

Wow...I could give a damn what she was wearing she isn't asking to be raped.
Of course she didn't. But certainly if one was dressed as a 21 year old prostitute they'd get much more attention from whomever would commit a rape.
It's interesting how similar hardcore Christian conservatives are to hardcore conservative Muslims.
How is that? Christians are making their women wear burkhas now?

Hopefully what will happen now is their captured markets will simply buy APPLE hardware to perform Dostel and Wintel PC functions under Parallels or Bootcamp or Q.
It will be ritious.
Rocketman
And since IBM does not manufacture personal computers I would assume they could give a darn which platform you purchase as long as you purchase Lotus notes.

Thanks.. I was kind of being sardonic, though.
