Wow, I expected PPC support to drop in a few years, not a few months. Sucks for anyone with the Quad G5s. Sucks for me with my dual G5. :(

If that were true we would all be buying Daewoo's right now.
And you'll note I didn't compare them to Mercedes, because I would have purchased the big Daewoo (the one with the Mercedes powertrain) if they imported it for under 20k.
However the 200MPH Yugo is just plain silly, and could be considered a cheap suicide note.
I just didn't want to get into the Apple vs. PC debate - because I lack the reality distorting drugs.

Gives us a nice goal to get out of Afghanistan have finished. We got him and destroyed his network ability to launch large attacks. And hopefully but Afghanistan into a position where the moderates will be in control.
Were we ever going to stop terrorism with guns? No, but thats a long term battle we need to be fighting. And its one that starts with leaving Iraq and Afghanistan.
I don't think so. If we wanted to "get out of Afghanistan" we coulda done it a long time ago. Iraqi's killed more coalition, killed more assets, and at a much faster rate than the rag tag Taliban...because Iraqis were smart at least. Although we have Iraq practically in a position like Saudi Arabia as a "future oil reserve", we still need to take care of Iran. Don't be surprise if "nuke factories" and "Iranian weapons in Taliban caches" come up once again. ;)

Yeah, the burial was fast and irreversible because they don't want to give someone a frozen body they had for years. :p I'm not convinced they "just killed him". I think at this point OBL's "martyrdom" is long past significance and they are just setting up to put "Al Queda" on a lower hit list and target other "terrorist" like those in Iran. Of course we need to prevent other "Bin Laden"s for the future! What a better organization to rely on than those who killed #1 terrorist! ...in a mansion in the open after 10 years. :p

It is highly unlikely that Apple released these parts for sale. It is much more likely that they were ordered stored or destroyed. Either way, they would now be stolen property.
Now, if they were from another manufacturer (i.e. a knock-off product), or from a non-Apple production run at Foxconn (though there may be some serious issues there, too, as under contract Apple may own all product coming off certain tools), then the only possible criminal issue would be patent infringement.

I have the same problem.. it might be. may it be that mac version is not available if submitted computer stats are of a pc?That can't be it, because I gave mac specs, and had an option to download the pc or mac version. I think I remember reading something about the mac beta being only for america, though i could be mistaken.

All this image shows is that the person measuring the white iPhone 4 has no idea how to use a caliper. The idea of a caliper isn't to squeeze the crap out of whatever you're measuring. It is obvious that the in the right picture they are squeezing much harder just looking at the discoloration of the persons skin on their thumb.

Hong Kong, Japan & a few other countries have been using technology like this for a while. Hopefully it'll start being mainstream in Western countries soon.
Hong Kong uses a SMART type card for everything, transport, vending machines, etc etc.
Japan uses their mobile phones, AFAIK :P
