Service Center. We anticipated that this redistribution�of work would
result in more timely adjudication of these petitions. Due to a number
of�unforeseen circumstances at our Texas Service Center, many of these
cases have not been�processed and are beyond our estimated processing
times. We sincerely regret any inconvenience�this may have caused you
and we are making every effort to remedy this situation as soon as
possible.
On Feb. 7, 2011, we implemented a rapid response plan to expedite the
adjudication of these�petitions. We have transferred a large number of
these Immediate Relative petitions back to our�California Service
Center to take advantage of resources currently available to
immediately�process these cases. Petitioners will see an action such
as an approval, denial or a Request for�Evidence (RFE) on their case
from our California or Texas Service Centers by the end of�February.
Additionally, we have briefed the Department of State’s National Visa
Center about�these cases.
We encourage you to monitor the progress of your case by accessing My
Case Status online. If�you do not see any action on your case, such as
an approval, denial or an RFE, by March 1, 2011�you may contact USCIS

We remain committed to the prompt resolution of all pending cases and

When i travelled using AP i had Just One copy and when IO asked for rest i said they are with the attorney.
The IO said i should carry all AP copies and can reuse the one which is stamped.

I was on a 5 week leave of absence when my EAD was being renewed. I'm back at work now and was thinking I will keep a 'Leave of Absence' verification letter handy just in case USCIS asks for it. Does anybody have a format for it? I am thinking of this:
Subject: Verification of Leave of Absence
To whomever it may concern:
It has been verified that XXX XXX was put on a Leave of Absence due to the ongoing EAD renewal during the period from X/X/2010 to X/X/2010. He did not receive any salary during this period.
Please feel free to call us for any question regarding this.

I have filed 485 for all my family members and received the EAD and AP(s). FP is not done yet. My daughter is in 1st year undergrad. Is there a way my daughter's 485 status can be maintained, if I join my daughter for MBBS study in India? If yes, what would be the option. Apreciate the suggestion

Service engineers at Nikon�s German Service Centre were amazed to discover during routine servicing recently that a Nikon F5 had achieved 1,092,904 shutter releases without fault.
Translating into about 35 kilometers of film this figure is a testament to the durable design of the mechanism, now also shared by the latest Nikon D2H Professional Digital SLR.
To put the 1,092,904 shutter releases into context, it equates to 34 hours of continuous shooting at 8 frames per second.
The camera is one of the bodies used in the Matthaus Photographic Studio in Nuremburg, Germany.
Nikon Germany�s Service Manager Joachim Hoffman said: �This is the most shutter releases I have ever seen. The F5 shutter is, in my opinion, definitely more durable than any other camera�s. Because the F5 in question was well looked after and serviced regularly, that makes it last longer- it�s a bit like going to the dentist!� he added.

What was your I-485 receipt date (Note: I am not asking for your PD)

I don't know if here is right place to post this or not. I responded to RFE about 30 days ago and got an email update that TSC has got my response and the case processing is resumed. That was 485 and TB skin test that I had to do again.
Anyone has any idea what is normal time after response to RFE? I am EB3 with PD of Oct, 2003.
Do you recemmend me to call service center or go for infopass?

My case is a bit different.
I have a 485 filed by a company for future employment.
Right now my Priority date became current for my current employer and that labor and I140 are approved.
So can we file multiple 485's with USCIS or do we need to cancel the other 485 to file new 485 with my current employer.

Put yourself in the USCIS officer's shoes and think how these 2 jobs are similar? The only similarity between both of them is these 2 jobs are in IT. That's it.
