Heinous. Absolutely hideous.
And I'm a fan of eye candy.
The faux leather is almost as bad as this "Marble" OS X mockup, from back in the day:

$1000 worth of a beating he'd get if i were his parent. Luckily for kids, i hate them and would never have one. Ever.
Not just lucky for the kids, lucky for the world.
Please keep your word and NEVER have kids. The last thing this world needs is more people like you.

Nope. I see every issue from the consumer perspective - as I should (being a consumer). Any other perspective would be an abomination (unless for those who hold tons of AAPL shares).
Phrases like "in Apple's eyes" is a good example of what I am talking about. Apple does not use iPhones, consumers do. Consumer eyse are the only eyes that matter. And that is exactly why people are switching to Android. If Apple cares more about what they think is right than what I think is right (for me) it would be stupid for me to care about what Apple thinks or does.
I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. You say that it would be stupid for you to care about what Apple thinks or does, yet you're on here berating them left and right. It makes zero sense to me.
Consumer eyes do matter and that's who Apple builds devices for. They don't build them for the spec junkie who has to have everything in the spec list checked off. They want people to have a great experience on their device in areas that matter in their mind.
I doubt that but even if that was the case then what? Every other phone manufacturer on the planet can design a phone that has LTE and Apple could not? Because they spend on R&D much less than any other hi-tech company of comparable size?
It is definitely true currently. No chip supports LTE and the other specifications (CDMA, GSM) yet.
Apple certainly can design a phone that supports LTE, but getting good battery life out of it is another thing. This is an area of focus for Apple so they won't make compromises here.

I didn't buy my Mac to be popular and I don't particularly care that lots of people are (or are not) using them. It's just an irrelevant metric to me.
Neither did I, but more market share means more software developers and more apps. That's the only reason I care.

I'm not sure stuffing a corpse with candy is very hygienic.
Who said anything about candy?
Seriously, though, we're going to treat him like Hector? Like he was some great hero worthy of our wrath and opprobrium?
Not a hero, but obviously worth our wrath and opprobrium, given that we spent 10 years trying to find him.
I disagree, we should wrap him in an army blanket and bury Bin Laden in an unmarked grave; the man's had enough celebrity already.
In a flower print dress and petticoat hiked up to his waist with his bare ass facing Mecca, maybe. He was a crapsack who got his jollies from murdered innocents, and deserves to be humiliated.
I like it! And after they're done Obama can piss on his corpse! :D
Hmm..what's Pfc England and her cohorts up to these days?

Samsung's smartest course of action probably would have been to work with whatever terms Apple had been offering before legal action ensued.
You are assuming Apple offered them any terms.
Apple's suit is largely around Samsung copying Apple's product appearances in many ways. What you are assuming is like Rolls Royce saying to GM, "Your new car design looks just like a Rolls Royce in so many ways a customer can't tell them apart. However if you'll give us "X" amount of money, We'll let you copy us."

While I am willing to believe that the iPhone5 won't be available in June/July (no none announced it for that time and it is only 'expected' by people because it was that way the last couple of years, but nothing official) - I don't think that AT&T Customer Reps know anything about it. Same goes for Apple Store Employees and probably 99.9% of the people employed by Apple.

You are absolutely right about her having some sort of mental dysfunction. Furthermore, she has defied logic and shows flawed reasoning or the inability to reason at all. She is opposing the norm of society, the ability to stay healthy, and the ability to have a better quality of life. With today's knowledge on obesity, she realizes she is running towards death, and runs to it with arms wide open.
People in good physical shape with a good diet, as you noted, do not always have better health outcomes, but statistically speaking, people with a healthy BMI and a good diet almost always have better health outcomes. Arthritis prevalence and severity is a major issue for people who are class 3 (formally morbidly) obese. Obesity is one of the top risk factors for death and is the top risk factor for about 7 different deadly and/or debilitating chronic diseases.
I would argue that accepting a lifestyle that has a much higher likelihood of illness or death doesn't necessarily mean mental illness. What about adventure seekers? Is climbing Everest a sign of mental illness? The likelihood of dying is high, and honestly, some would say that you have to be crazy to do it, but people still praise the behavior, and don't label the person with a mental illness.
Guys, it really is possible that she just LOVES food. I've met people like that. They are great chefs and are very over weight because they love food. Not because they have some kind of mental deficiency.

The white is definitely a little bit thicker than the black. I managed to get it in my Incase Slider (snuggly) that I used with my black, but it is next to impossible to get it out. This post explains why...

If the tapered design is real, the mockup almost certainly has it upside down. The thickness and weight would be at the bottom, not at the top. Otherwise, it would be an ergonomic disaster.
Given that Topolosky's people couldn't figure that out (or their source told them their mockup was correct), it suggests that the source is not good or Topolosky's people can't interpret leaks worth a damn.

Just went there for the first time yesterday to be disappointed =/
Expensive and nothing special. The Habit is a better option imo :)
The Habit is better.....and I'm not driving to Thousand Oaks for a Five Guys burger.:p

Did ye all not read the report. The whole point is that it is a "Proximity sensor" . That it can detect your gestures while "spaced away" from the ipod. This would be no big deal if it required rubbing your greasy fingers all over the display!! Yes and it states "a touch screen display" "For multifunctional handheld devices".
"The method includes sensing an object spaced away and in close proximity to the electronic device. The method also includes performing an action in the electronic device when an object is sensed." Meaning when I'm close to touching the darn thing do/show this when this is happening on screen.
Did you read it?
http://www.macsimumnews.com/index.php/archive/part_1_apple_files_proximity_detector_in_handheld_device_patent_application/
EDIT: Still not "touchless" either....
"For example, when using a touch sensing device along with a proximity detection system, advanced gestures may be performed that combine proximity gestures along with touch gestures."

Apple is glad it's fast! They are glad the system works very differently.
How long did the MS vs Apple and MS antitrust suits last?
The patent infringement defendant is never glad to be in a fast venue. It's a huge advantage to the plaintiff. The plaintiff has a huge headstart before the suit is even filed.

This is great news!
So more and more people will finally realise that running Mac OS X only is far, far, far cheaper, more stabile and less troublesome.
Way to go Microsoft, we love you! Please make Business Edition three times more expensive too, make software registration five time more complicated and annoying as hell, include more ironcurtain restrictions, so people can buy more and more Macs.
