But does doing that make your iPhone SIM no longer work in your iPhone? I just want to be able to use my iPhone SIM in the iPad as I please so I don't have to tether using MyWi all the time. (This is for an iPad 2 by the way.)
I don't think that's possible anymore.
MyWi with on demand is very convenient and does not use that much battery.

One is a desktop, the other is an ultraportable.
If you need a portable computer, get the Air. If not, the iMac is a far better value. It's pretty simple.:o

On the front page, I had a spinning beachball for a few minutes and could not exit. Doing the software update which included Safari and Java seemed to solve this problem, but I'm not sure if that was the cause.
Thanks for the input, but that's not the issue here. My computer was running perfectly, no beachballs, and I was still able to perfectly contact and load every other site at that time, and DownForEveryone said that the site was down for them too.

I don't think they will let you have the iPhone 3G S until 8am because that's what it says on Apple website. For 5th avenue store it is different, but for stores in malls are they going to change the mall hours to accommodate lines forming or will people only be allowed in at 8am? My mall doesn't open until later than 8am on Friday, does this mean my Apple Store won't be participating in the 8am opening and will simply open when the mall does?

This path of escalation is necessarily faster for serious problems but is intended to give users a chance to comply as well as to understand what's expected of them under the rules.

blevins321, those are nice photos, good subject matter and exposure - but I would classify them as snapshots rather than stock or competition grade pictures.
Composition: All four photos have the subject placed directly in the middle of the image - it's very matter-of-fact, and not interesting to the eye.
Attention to detail: For stock or competition you can't have mistakes in your images. The cheetahs are missing their tails, the deer seems to have only one horn (or something odd going on with it's ear), two of the camels are missing rear feet - and I can see the top of a landrover over the next hill.
Finish: To take pictures to the next level you have to do some post processing to make sure brightness, contrast, saturation and sharpness are all good. These images could all do with some work.
I don't want to put you off - you're enthusiastic about your photography, which is great. Why not start entering photo competitions (plenty of photo forums online that do competitions) so that you can get feedback to help you improve? Also try to look at your pictures a lot more critically.

FYI, unless you're planning on doing heavy-duty gaming (Halo, Quake 4, Doom 3 or the like), I'd stick to a passively-cooled graphics card; the fan noise will be pretty obnoxious, especially if you get an ATI 9800.
Also, think carefully about using that machine as a daily computer--they idleat well over 100W; leaving one of those on regularly will noticeably increase your power bill (unless you have free utilities :) ) Be aware that things like Netflix streamiing will never work on a PowerPC Mac.
With all that said, I'm glad you're enjoying your "new" toy! I loved my dual G5, and if it were still practical to have it, I would :cool:

My ipad ( treated jailbreak) is not recognized on PC and is stuck in boot loop.
even in DFU or recovery mode is not recognized by PC.
I've tried everything ... It simply is not recognized in any way ...
