The thread is for people with Canadian perm residentship and also have US green card. They may face issue due to conflict of interest (intent) between both white/green cards.
while, most of us do not have Canada perm residentship. why should we face that issue? I was only concerned with any other issue due to the fact of mere visiting canada on greencard? if it can raise any suspicion (or any technical issue) of abandoning the pending or approved GC?

How about setting up a poll to get a rough idea we could create a poll with a salary range and EB level for example 48000~ 59999 EB3 48000~59999 EB2 60000~70000 EB3 60000~70000 EB2 etc. this would give us a rough Idea about Levels and corresponding EB categories. I suggest using numerical ranges Instead of Levels because some people may not know the levels.
This poll can give us some thing like X% of level 3 are EB2 and Y% of Level 2 are EB3 sort of estimates.

Can someone go fr 2 jobs after EAD approval( i will use my EAD). Is is required that the job description of these jobs has to be same as filed in the application ? appreciate your help

Yes and no. Yes will probably get the PERM for BA +5 certified. But no, you will not be approved for an EB2 I-140 petition. You will still only be able to get an EB3 I-140 approved.

Spent the afternoon in a small group of trees just next a supermarket, very handy, I just drove the car there and parked in the far corner next to the trees. Next to the parking lot there is a small field where some Swallows were gathering insects for their young. I haven't processed all the pictures yet, just looked up one that I like. What do you think?

Filed online on Dec 20 for both me and my wife. Send additional docs in 1 week. EAD and AP approved on Feb 23. Nebraska center. Only sad thing is EAD and AP are not in one card. I got EAD approved for 2 years, but AP for only 1 year in paper form.
Can anyone offer suggestion if I should call USCIS why they did not give it in a single card. 'coz I thought they were supposed to issue both the EAD and AP in one card starting Feb 11. I applied for both together.

why did you want to refile? Did you get a copy of the complete filing from your attorneys office to see what they filed? Was something missed in your first filing?

Same situation here for my wife, we applied only on 29 Jun and current EAD expiring on 22 Aug. We totally forgot about it. She is working for a very reputed bank in NY. Yesterday she received a call from HR asking if she had applied for EAD renewal. She explained the situation and asked them what to do. This is their reply:"That's not a problem. You can work for 180 days after expiry. Just send me a copy of the receipt notice once you receive it".
I think this essentially means the 245(k). So I went back to read the same top to bottom, and looks like you are allowed to work not exceeding 180 days.
I will update once i get more clarification.

What did you guys do? Did you continue working after the EAD expired? Or take a temporary break? Or did u luck out and got ur EAD just in time?
Any help/suggestion/advise is much appreciated - as you may imagine, I am worried sick

There are many people who would sign up anything to come to US. When that A company spends 5-6k and bring people here, they disapear in 1 month. Obviously in this case court will go against the employee firstly because there is an underlying bias for the employer as he's a US employer second I personally feel he has all rights to ask for money since he invested in you...

Was just going back down memory lane...
In the 80's - most of 90's, traveling to the US (as a visitor) was so off limits; not because of visa issues or that there wasn't someone to visit here, but for the simple reason that middle class or even upper middle class in India just couldn't afford or justify the expense. Those were the days when highly educated people, having a very stable income source used to feel proud that they have booked a Bajaj scooter (delivery would take years!). Owning a color TV was remarkable, traveling to a foreign country was just unfathomable!
So much has changed in these past 10-15 years!

If you are worrying about your GC costs then file it on your own. Its very easy. I filed 485 on my own along with EAD and AP. I got my receipt numbers, EAD, FP. I guess 140 needs to be filed my employer with help of Attorney. Or you can file with help of your employer.(i am not sure on this)

This may seem as easy as it sounds, but could you get into trouble. Along with EVL USCIS also asks for pay stubs and W2s for RFE. This is to asses your intentions of continuing the job as mentioned in ur labour. Eventhough GC is for future employer. if USCIS finds out that you are not working in a job which matches the job description, it could create problems.
Use EAD to join the company but during I-485 process if they ask for EVL keep a back up company which can give EVL with Labor job description. Hope this helps.
