This morning at Fashion Island was a success. They received probably 50 or so, almost exclusively verizon models with about 4 wifi models.
I got the one I wanted 3G, 64gb, white, but I wanted ATT. It wasn't a deal breaker to get a Verizon iPad so I am a happy camper!

Well, I don't know about the name considering iHome are a successful company that make a range of iPod-enabled clock radios but it certainly sounds like a good product.
well, I was more talking about a digital media hub gadget previously named iHome. uHome? would do just as well for me, just begin to produce it. ;)

Everyone keeps talking about the fact that their logitech and other mice have lasers but those are all RF mice. Correct me I am wrong, but I have NEVER seen a stand alone BT mouse with laser, (except for the DiNovo combo - but you can't buy them seperatel only optical. If it's true, than apple has another hit on their hands. Still don't know if I would buy one though.

Both firms report solid gains from 1 year ago, with IDC reporting a jump from 4.4 to 4.8% U.S. Marketshare and Gartner reporting a jump from 4.3 to 4.6%, making the Mac maker the 4th largest maker of computers behind Dell (32%), HP (18.9%), and Gateway (6.2%).
This is the first reported gains in marketshare for Apple since the Intel transition, as last quarter saw minor losses (http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/06/20060601164133.shtml). From last quarter, it appears as though Apple has gained an entire percentage point in market share (up from 3.5-3.6% 1Q 2006).

The design, print, packaging, promo, photographic and fashion industry is overwhelmingly Mac-based.

Yes. I am sure the number 3-25 top selling smartphones all have hardware keyboards.

That is called marketplace domination. Clearly a lot of people here don't have much business experience or understand how business works, but such control of a marketplace is significant, especially given the number of devices available for sale.

Pls look at post #94. Numbers speak for themselves and they tell me Apple won't get into TV business. Who's going to pay 2k every 2 - 3 years for a TV?
You might have inside sources at Apple, because you seem to be too sure that it will cost 2K and would only last for 2 - 3 years.

Oh Apple Mail has a To Do list. And Notes. But the Calendar is a separate app, as is the Address Book. So why not also have a separate To Do and Notes application? Oh, because they're stored as special formatted email messages in Mail.app, that's why. So how about integrating Calendar and Address Book better in Mail. It's a mess.

If you look really closely, you can see there is no difference. White stands out more than black, so really what you're seeing is the front face of the phone adding to the width because of this two dimensional perspective. The front face of black iPhone is visible too, it just isn't noticeable in front of that background. Look closely.

i was totally disappointed. I was 2nd in line at Best Buy Anaheim only to find out they got 15 ipad2. No 3g or 64gb. Wasted my time! Never going to shop there again!!!!!

umm, actually it's a well known fact that (a) consoles are always sold at a loss to entice customers, and (b) microsoft loses over $100 on each console sold.
they make up for this on the rather large profits made on games and licensing games for the platform...

There is very little difference between the two masses. 2.4mg difference. That is less than 2% of 140g.
It is not a matter of "thinking too much" about it but a matter of simply "thinking" about it.

It's actually 2.4 grams, which may not be a huge difference per se but in a product with such tight parts tollerance to me suggest differences in parts used. It may be the white casing, it may be a reshaped chassis or even a different chip. iFixit will tell.

At 10:30 this morning Bristol had a few white Verizon pads and a few black 16GB WiFi pads. Neither was what I was looking for. I went to MV, Spectrum, Fashion Isalnd, called Brea and Cerritos - all sold out. I am going back to Bristol for opening time tomorrow.

Then if I am totally empty handed Ill just expand outside of the OC if I have to.

Er, no. That doesn't follow from my logic at all. The poster was asking for proof that this russian site had any kind of problems with the labels "you have no idea what money goes where" or words to that effect were used. The fact that they are in court proves there is a dispute, not guilt.
I'd be happy to break the argument out for you in formal logic if you are familiar with the logical languages?

Safe to say at this point we will have to wait. Man, I had that upgrade waiting. But then again, what's another three months to wait from the usual release date?

A little harsh here - you don't know if he payed for the music or not and it might also contain movies and other stuff. I know many people that collect lots of music CD's and movie DVDs over the many moons they are on the planet and ripping that in high quality needs lots of storage. Many people try to rip at highest quality possible and that is expensive storage wise. Just don't assume it's is stolen - might be, but you and I don't know.

Let's just assume it's half music and half movies. That's roughly 142,000 songs and over 3000 movies. At .99 cents per song and $10 per movie, that's $170,000 if he paid for it. And he's complaining about $20 year. Hmmm....

Does this mean that apple plans to enter the tv market?
Do people have good experiences with apple tv compared with tv of other brands?
If Apple did enter the TV market, they would most likely re-brand someone else panels. The question is who's panels would they use. I would like the think that Apple would go with Panasonic Viera panels as they are awesome (for plasmas).

Yup, believe me i am looking elsewhere for a lower price if possible, and if not i am going to go to my friend that works at nordstroms and have her buy it for me, and if that doesnt happen, i am just going to by them. I have one of the shirts already and i get tons of comments on them.
